BlackBerry® operating system
There are constantly new functions for BlackBerry smartphones under development. That is why new updates of the BlackBerry operating system are being released now and then, modified to suit the BlackBerry model specifically.
NB! Download and install the newest version of Desktop Manager before you install a new operating system on your phone.
BlackBerry® Desktop Manager
BlackBerry Desktop Manager is a program to install and run on your PC. With this program, you will be able to:
* Synchronize email, calendar, contacts, notes and tasks between your BlackBerry smartphone and your computer
* Download applications and updates from your computer to the BlackBerry
* Create backup files of important information on your BlackBerry and transfer them to your computer
* Transfer files between your computer’s and your BlackBerry’s internal memory, or transfer to a memory card
* Migrate data from a BlackBerry, Palm Treo, or Windows Mobile based phone to a new BlackBerry
If you have the BlackBerry Enterprise Solution you will also be able to do the following:
* Create an email signature that will be saved on all outgoing emails, when sending from both your BlackBerry or your computer
* Filtrate the emails you receive on your BlackBerry using key words, message field (including From, To, Cc, Bc and topic) and the contents
